Reporting the L&D Manager, you will be responsible for developing and delivering the L&D strategy in support of our overall business objectives. Reporting to the Head of HR, this is an important role that will see you assist the HR team with the management, development, and communication of the company's benefit policies and annual processes.
On a day to day basis your role will include salary and benefits benchmarking and analysis, management information reporting including input to the Board report, and liaising with our other locations to collate data. You will also be responsible for providing data for annual benefits policy renewals, bonus reviews and calculation support (spreadsheets, analysis, letters etc), as well as having a key role in the delivery of the annual salary review.

The successful candidate will have strong excel skills (familiarity with autofilters and pivot tables is desirable), along with previous experience of data analysis and a working knowledge of databases.
It is essential you have excellent research, analytical and reporting skills as well as a high level of numeracy and the ability to deal accurately with calculations of a complex nature.
Although this role sits within the HR function, previous experience of working in HR isn’t essential.

Reporting to the Senior HR Advisor, this is a truly generalist HR role that will see you work with all areas of the business. Your day-to-day duties will include:

• Support line managers across all offices with respect to various HR processes with reference to the Senior HR Advisor and HR Director as appropriate;

• Disciplinary and grievance, sickness and absence management, performance improvement, training and development, paternity, flexible working, maternity etc., ensuring complete documentation and records including advice, note taking and completion of documentation etc.;

• Work with the Senior HR Advisor to implement and maintain the induction process, providing ongoing support to Service Line Heads and Heads of Office to continually develop the process in line with Business needs;

• Assist in the design and delivery of recruitment training for managers in line with current legislation, and provide ongoing support in order to promote a consistent culture of best practice recruitment across the group;

• Support the design and delivery of training initiatives to contribute to the development of all staff across the business;

• Support the trainee recruitment process across the group, researching and evaluating advertising strategies in line with budget to deliver yearly intake of trainees;

• Contribute to the ongoing development of performance management processes, providing support and training to line managers to embed a culture of proactive performance management across the business;

• Carry out timely exit interviews with all leavers, reporting on key themes on a quarterly basis, to feed into the Internal Communications and Staff focus groups.

The successful candidate will be a professional HR Assistant/Advisor who is looking to take the next step in their career. You will have at least two years practical experience in providing first-line advice to staff and management, have strong communication skills and will be comfortable liaising with staff at all levels across the business.

Reporting in to the HR Manager, you will be responsible for all the administration around the company benefits scheme with a large part of the role focusing in company car administration. You will need to ensure all drivers under the scheme have a valid licence and be in receipt of all the relevant documentation including copies of licenses and insurance for those employers running their own vehicles.
To be successful in this role with will be an organised methodical person with the ability to communicate with staff across all levels of the business. You will have strong IT skills (MS Excel), and although previous experience in HR or benefits administration would be advantageous, it isn’t essential if you have the right work ethic and personality.
